what can I do to modify this build? part/modding ideas please

my limit is $1,200 price wise and the only thing I'm not changing is the case, and the added keyboard so, any ideas on how I can personify my build? links are helpful too

If I can make a suggestion on the parts, I would either change to a z170 board to take advantage of the unlocked cpu our if you do not plan to overclock keep the board you linked and get a locked cpu.

I also suggest 2x8GB DDR4 instead of 1x16GB. You will want dual channel.

You really need to wait a few weeks to build, because gpu's are gonna be going crazy here ina month or so. You WILL regret buying a 970 at this time. Not wild about your storage solutions either, but thats another thing all together.

yes i agree also get better cooling for the cpu if you want to overclock
