Yeah you get those tiny TVs for practically nothing these days.

I've got TVs casually laying around the globe. Don't really care about them. But I need to go get my trusty old Acer monitor at some point...
My only complaint is it's a PITA finding anything <32". I'd have been fine with a 24" smart TV in there but no dice.

Panasonic TZ90. Been after something small with big zoom and 4k30 video support for ages. They don't really exist any more so this is a used one. Released 2017 so quite old. 5 year store warranty could come in handy. 30 day refund, remainder repair/replacement. Charging it over lunch first, then clean and try it out later.

Started out with Panasonic's Lumix TZ-5 for my first "real camera" purchase nearly 20 years ago, and still have it hahaha. Great little pocket cams, and I regret not getting one of the newer ones after I got out of the DSLR hobby. No one beats their optical zoom imo in the pocket camera space, though Canon was close for a little while.

Hope it serves you well!

Edit: I should add, most of the Lumix series of pocket cameras were basically stripped down variants of their Leica counterpart, which sold for WAY more but had most of the features. Great cameras!

The joys of tech. By chance I just found out there is a "new" refresh model of the used camera I bought, the TZ99. This seems to be announced in December, but unless you follow all camera news closely it is easily missed. Haven't gone through the specs closely, but video and lens specs are same (which is why I got it). Apart from swapping the micro-USB connector for USB-C, doesn't look much different. Costs a bit more and doesn't ship until end of month. In theory the 5 year store warranty I got could be worth it in the longer term, assuming the store stays in business that long. They're a big chain that has been around forever but you never know what the future brings. Their standard warranty on used items was 6 months until recently, so maybe they're using that to try and increase sales.

A few things actually:
Upgraded my monitor from my LG 29UM68-P to my brother's old G32QC-A from Gigabyte. Now I've entered the 1440p family 😂

Then something old but left at my parents place, my W2K dual P3 server 😁 This will be for storing backups and such. (Specs in my Sig if your curious)

I guess? It looks like a surgical procedure in progress.

And I just learned I can click on the pic to make it not fuzzy lol
Well everyone was new at some point 😉

That is my custom made case + loop. The top (where the mobo and tank is mounted) flips open to access the innards and spaghetti that is my poor cable management.

I was planning on adding a bottom withe holes drilled in specific places to hide the spaghetti and make it super neat, but let's be honest - I haven't drained that loop in 5+ years so the bottom add on isn't happening anytime soon.

A home-brew test bench always gets a cheers from me hehe.

Not sure if this is allowed content on here, if it isn't feel free to delete and give me a Gibbs slap.;)

Have been wanting a cheap range day pistol for a long time, finally decided to pickup a Walther P22 Target locally to fill that want. The pistol itself is rather low priced (can be had new without the extended barrel this one has for ~$230) and uses .22LR which is usually $40 for 1k rounds. I want to use this to knock some rust off myself as I haven't been to the range in about 15 years, and would like to get back into competition stuff.

Not only is it allowed, there is an enthusiast thread here...

Could NOT pass up the fitbit at this price. Been trying to get back in shape... Basically just needed something that could do a decent job counting steps but also help me figure out what's up with my pulse and blood pressure and whatnot. This was the perfect fit for my price bracket.

I've got the Charge 6 too. It's a nice little device, but doesn't do BP. It's pretty handy for getting back in shape though - tracks calories in vs calories out, logs dedicated exercise, etc.

EEG is brain waves. ECG is the heart one. A full one measures in various directions across the heart, so even a basic one needs another reference point e.g. one arm to the other arm.
This one can do that.

It's got a metal contact patch on the bottom of it, which presses on the wrist of whatever arm it's on. Then it has you press on two metal strips on the side with the other arm.

Dunno how accurate it is and I don't consider it better than a novelty addon though.
