It came a day early.. nice board.. pretty heavy lol. It will be nice to use all of my NVMe at once. I have 5 sticks so..

Now I just need a CPU and Ram. Probably 9800X3D, not sure on the ram yet. Was thinking C26 Royals when they come out..

It's not guaranteed, but most higher-series Hynix A or M should make 6000 CL26, 6200 CL26-28, and 6400 CL28-30. It also depends on the CPU. On the other hand, there is almost no performance gain compared to CL32, which can be set without issues. Nearly all single-rank Hynix A/M can also make 8000+, and these two ICs are in 95% of "gaming" memory kits of the most popular brands. The dual-rank will end at about 7400-7600 (the top kits will reach 8000).

Thank you sir :salute:

I can't take a photo of it, but a headache!

Lots of non-PC spending going on recently, or about to shortly:
  • House insurance renewal
  • Boiler service (annual, routine)
  • Car clutch went weird yesterday and in garage getting looked at now
  • Stone hit windscreen last Friday, chip and large crack. Too big to be repaired so I'll have to get that replaced soon
  • Roof leak, new flashing now installed on chimney
Each one not so bad in itself but it seems to all be happening now. Still intend to try for a 5070 Ti later this month!

Got some new ram on the way.. not the bestestest, but it will get me running. Not sure what chips are on them, judging by the price probably not that great..

Only Hynix runs at 6000 CL30, and only Hynix A-die is in 16GB modules, so here is what you can expect. Depending on the luck, it can be the same as in 6000 CL26-28, 6400 CL30-32, or up to 8000 CL36 kits. You won't know until you test it.

Thank you sir, I think they should do ok, even if not.. it gets me running when I pick CPU. I will grab a 2R set and keep the Lexars for my eldest sons upgrade when he gets my Strix lol.. or.. be brave and try to run 2 pairs.. I am Irish, not sure if I am that lucky though..
