ROG Loki PSU again.

WUT. IS. GOING ON?

"Another User Sees Melting Of 16-Pin Connector..." Another means we have all two or more already, as this is the second case mentioned in a separate article if I'm right, and the first one is more on the user's side (even though the design is bad). I wish any report from a large manufacturer, not a random reddit post that causes people to panic. I guess manufacturers won't share as it would hit their sales.

Also ... the wrong thread?

I actually need them for a floor lamp that came with super white lights, like 6500k. Got several installed, turned it on, "hmm, these get a lot hotter than the old ones. I couldn't feel the heat from my desk before..."

Looked at the lamp, "5w LED bulbs only". Woops...

What's the screen native resolution @DaveB ?
Nothing special, 1920 x 1080, IPS panel but it does look good. For $360 that works, with 16GB DDR5 and 512GB SSD. HP offered me a 3-year warranty with accidental damage covered for just $42 after the Presidents Day 30% off topped by a second 33% off promo code. I don't usually buy these things but that is a good offer, especially with accidental damage covered. I do have a rambunctious collie running around the house always jumping on my lap (and possibly laptop!).

My Dell notebook is also 1080p, but it's rocking a 6th gen i7 & quadro M1000M (~GTX 960). That HP would be a nice step up for me if I needed it.
Looks like you got a great deal too.

Got me a really cool, needed Variac for under $50 shipped. For a 10-amper, she's quite hefty @ 12lbs. Wasn't gonna get one of dem new fangled jap/china junk.

This is a Staco USA made in Dayton Ohio ;)
Type 2PF 1010

Got some vent covers to try and prevent slug ingress at my house. Couldn't decide what colour to go for so got 2 of each of these to try out. I need 6 total anyway, and want the front of house to look good. The side/back is less important. House is red brick, but I think the brown is a better match than the red. Got the grey because I thought that might go with the cement. Now to devalue my house by attempting to drill into it!
