Kind of an impulse order -

Use a Logitech G413 TKL SE at work. Keys are a little loud and scratchy. Tried adding dampers and now it just feels mushy.

Saw Drop had some decent looking key caps, grabbed some (supposedly) quiet switches, and a cheap barbone board that already has stabilizers.

Edit: added another pack of switches. Thought I had enough left over from my home keyboard, but remembered I actually broke the pins off a couple, so I'll be short.

My sound system is in and complete.

Klipsch R-120SW Subwoofer
Edifier R1700BTs

Best sound system ive ever owned, The 12" sub pounds more than i can handle so no need to push it.
The Edifiers actually sound good on thier own but i think they have an internal crossover as they die at about 70hz but the sub fixes that.

I grabbed a R-10SW a while back. They're great subs, but terrible for apartments

You love those 9900X's and i dont blame you. I hope to OC mine soon and undervolt it and see how high i can get it.
Post magically merged:

Yes, They tend to pound rather well. I have a 2 story house and just at normal listening volumes it can be heard in every room down stairs. That copper cone looks awesome imo.

I have a super sound system I purchased nearly two decades ago. I used it when I lived alone when playing DOOM and it would make my spine tingle at times playing in the dark. It's been boxed up for many years now and doubtful I will ever deploy it again. :(

I havent tried to game yet but ill try out Valorant and see how a FPS feels when fired at.
My system is almost complete im just waiting on the last part on Sunday to be delivered, Its a suprise and i wont give details but im sure ill ruffle a few feathers.
Just remember your never too old for good loud tunes......

Already near deaf in my right ear...nothing seems the same as it was.
Overclock your hearing aid! Sucks man i really appreciate my hearing.. I build high end car audio systems in my spare time and im suprised my hearing is fine still.
Last build was 2x12" and an 18" subs with 8k watts powering them.

Meniere's disease...it ain't coming back. I'm also not inclined to participate in the multitude of hearing aid scams so I just deal with it.

sorry to here that man, How old are ya?
BTW you love those 9900X's i wish they made a 9900G for some reason.
Those 10K cpus may be hitting soon and ill upgrade to that as i have a good feeling about them.
My sub is 2 feet from me on my Monitor stand i worked out as you feel bass more than you hear it.
Dayton audio sells bass shakers to attach to your chair so you can really feel the bass. I had them in my car and they made the bass feel 2x as strong.

I think ill look into 2x bass shakers if i figure out how to get a signal too them as i have a high amp power supply thats adjustable and is 110v

We're the same age. My wife had Meniere's disease. She got a great pair of hearing aids at Costco for $1500. Helped her hearing in her last several months.
