wait for FX60 because is around the corner and the 150 you have is good high end already. Don't be selling the FX57 later on for loss. You'll regret it.

even if its gonna only cost me like 500 out of pocket ??

the difference is .. the fx 60 is gonna cost me like 900 at least out of pocket .. while the fx57 will only cost me 500 .. and then i have a cpu with a better mem controller .. etc .. this opty 150 is a pita

so me getting the fx60 would prolly have to wait for a long time .. and by then the m2 socket will be out

my x2 3800 at stock was way better than any single core i ever had in everything even better than the 146 that did 3.0

Sell the 150 get an X2 3800 overclock it and call it a day...

FX-60, regardless of the fact that you people aren't excited about DC cpus they will become more and more a available and more used, especially because the new drivers on these video cards are starting to use the second core - IMHO a clear choice.

Also, that FX-60DC on ebay real or not was price gouging, I'd expect around 1k USD for it when it hits the streets.

i had a 3800+ x2 .. and it was a crap overclocker .. and i had a 4400+ x2 .. i wasnt blown away by it .. i dont do anything that really takes 2 cores .. i dont burn while i game .. or anything else ..

I see the benefits of dual core ACROSS MY WHOLE SYSTEM before i even overclock it, High overclocks and huge bandwidth are everything lol.

I would much rather have 2 gigs of memory and a dual core at 2.4 then a single overclocked to 2.8-3.0 anyday.

I would never pay for an X2 4800 though, its either the 3800 or 4400...

already have 2gb of ram and a 512mb gtx with another one on the way .. i think i might pick up a fx57 .. ill get it much cheaper then the fx60 .. and ill wait and see what happens with dual cores when the next socket is out

your the only guy i know that has had more cpus them me in the last 2 months :p

Nice rig man those 512 gtx's must be insane

meh.... found it in a search, thought i'd resurrect it :santa:

Awesome. haha. I would say an fx-57 is pointless with the steppings they are releasing on the 3700's and 4000's. It probably won't OC much better
