hey, my friend is building a system with an amd 1900+ cpu and he is looking for a really quiet computer. he found this heatsink and i want to know what u think of it and if u know of anything better that would be aomost silent. Thanks

I remember seeing a review on that somewhere. From what I remember, and could see from the link, the heatsink will be totally silent, but the fan that you have to put on top of it to get adequate cooling isn't. I think there are some better solutions for the same price, maybe with a little more noise though. Vantec hsf's are my personal favorite, but they are loud.

me? i've heard nuthin but badness about that HSF. if you
want performance and less noise, go with a glaciator heatsink.

From what Ive read, (I cant find the original articles) that heatsink isnt all that great of a performer. It looks better that it cools.
