What do u use to cool your Raptors?

well i dont know about raptors, but yea those hard-drive coolers with teh fans adn stuff work

also the guy a few bit down had heatsinks on his..
 
Would be fine if i just mount them to a 5 1/2" bay with no cooling. Would it degrade the performance or kill it in the long run?
 
Remember, these Raptors are essentially SCSI drives. SCSI drives are most often run in 5.25" hotswap bays with no extra cooling, and ambient temperatures are often around 40-50C.

To be on the safe side, I'd put them in 5.25" bays or at least leave space between them. Otherwise, I wouldnt' worry.
 
Yea i have an xtra bay to separate them. I think ill go for the Innovatek Innovibe to control some of the noise or vibration. But i was hoping they would have some SATA HD racks.
