Hi I am looking to get new computer case possibly the cooler master cosmos 2. Do you guys recommend it or is there something that is the same size but better? I will probably buy it in November.

Yes I am using the same rig as my sig for now future updates with possible dual cpu workstation board and chips. So that's the main reason I want the case plus I have a lot of fans I want in it and future water cooling with some 360mm radiators that I will put in it.

For multiple 360mm rads I would suggest the Corsair Obsidian 900D. It's in the same price range as the CosmosII but is a much better case with allot more features.

If you don't mind cube cases the Thermaltake Core X9 is a watercooling beast. It's huge but with it's current Newegg sticker at $170 it's truly your best bang for the buck. Edit: I forgot to mention it can handle 3x480/420 rads PLUS a 360mm. Even a dual CPU - Tri GPU set-up will have a hard time heating up that much radiator area.

What he said...

From the reviews I've seen, going to an EATX MB with a 360 rad in the top can be a problem due to clearance for the power connectors. SSI EEB MB may be listed for compatibility, though one review said that the MB mounts were not a match for an Intel board.

Blaylock's list is excellent and I would strongly recommend checking out the competition before buying.

I will consider those cases I don't like having a large window on my computer due to issues with interference related to sun light and lighting from out side of the case getting to the motherboard. Cause diodes and some kinds of chips can act like light detectors and be disrupted when exposed to lights.

? That's news to me. I've had my rigs exposed to light for decades. The only thing that kills them is ME! lol

It wont kill your system but make overclocks more unstable then what they usually would be. Giving you more performance in theory.

The Comos 2 is a decent case. I have one sitting in the corner collecting dust. Not great for water cooling as your options are limited to a slim (30mm thick) 360mm / slim 240mm with push / pull without push pull you can go a bit thicker as long as you have the clearance on the top of your motherboard, slim 280mm rad up top and a 240mm rad on the bottom. This is without modding the case of course. Build quality was actually pretty good though airflow was not great. Any questions ..... ask.

I have no first-hand experience memorable enough, but my best friend managed to spend a half of his monthly income on a silenced case that couldn't silence an 80mm fan on the CPU. That may even have been a Scythe fan.
