What is the weight of your pc? I’m just talking about the case and what’s in it or attached to it like a res or extra psu. This does not include monitor, speakers, keyboards etc.

My new one is 63.0 lbs. This is no LAN party box!! Hehe My old one is 25.0 lbs, and the other one I’m working on is 21.0 lbs.

dont see how this is a debate though?

Hmmm, good point. It should be moved. I guess I was a little too sleepy last night and didn’t think where I was putting it. :p

63lbs!!! You've got to be kidding. I think you may have too many blowholes in that thing pressing it to the floor - good test, if you turn it upside down does it hover?

my old case weighs alot too.. INWIN server full tower, a full 4 inches taller than my antec...
it only clears my desk by 5 inches...

the panels must weigh 5-10 lbs each.... it took me 6 reinforced dremel disks to cut a window into the battle armor it has

don't have a scale at hand but i can assure you that mine is close to 50-60 pounds, and i transport mine everywhere:eek: It is a beast, but hey it works:D

I got u all beat. around 11lbs P3 1ghz, 384 PC133, 64meg Radeon 7500, 30gig HD, 8x CD-RW, sound, modem, and nic.

OK OK, i cheated its a Dell Inspiron 8100 but hey its comparable to many desktops... hehe

BTW i like that extreme sports... hehe funny.

This rig is a MUST for LAN parties

I wouldnt doubt it if it weighed close to 70lbs maybe more. I have an antec sx1030b case.

why does it weigh so much?

Theres alot inside the Box
2 Pentium 3 1000EB's @ 1125 MHZ
2 Millenium Glaciator II Heatsinks
Abit VP6 Motherboard
1 gig Crucial PC 133 Ram @ 150mhz
ATI 7500 Graphics Card
Aureal Vortex 8820 Sound Card
IBM 75 gxp 20 gig 7200 rpm ATA 100
Western Digital 13.3 gig 5400 rpm HD
3com Ethernet card
Pioneer DVD-106s DVD Drive & 3.5" Mitsumi floppy drive
iOmega 250 meg internal zip drive
Antec 1030b File server case W/ 4 80mm fans
Antec 300W PSU
Digidoc 5 Thermal monitoring device
Dynamat sound dampening material (adds alot of weight)
and if i ever put my plexwriter back in theres a few more pounds.

Lets just say that the upwards force exerted on my case by the desk is equal to the downwards coefficent of weight..............

Damn, these physics lectures are driving me nuts

downwards coeffiicent or wieght? uh is that a new way of saying gravity :p
never heard that one in physics class :p

That is ok, I was a physics minor and I understood what you just said. That is almost as nutty as saying it in the first place;)

OK, so that AP physics is kinda useful for something in the real life for me: the downward force, also known as gravity, in newtons, from my computer to my desk is equal to the normal force exerted by the desk to the computer as demonstrated by Newton's law of motion.

feel free to add more to it

Edit: BTW, my comp is about 30 or 40 lbs.(don't have a scale), but that's because it's an HP and only has 4 drive bays total. 1 FDD, 2 HDD (1 quantum bigfoot, thx HP:rolleyes: ), and 2 optical drives. 160W PS
