What graphics card should I buy?

Only lists a 3% jump with AA enabled at high resolutions in BF3...doesn't seem like much to me. It was always a very NVIDIA biased game anyway. Skyrim isn't as much of a worry as if it does well in BF3 it'll do well in Skyrim.

Cheapest 6870s on Newegg (one with MIR, one without. MIRs usually take a couple weeks to come in, they usually give you a prepaid debit card):

Speaking of high resolutions, do we know the resolution of your monitor yet? If it turns out you'll be gaming on 1440x900, then it doesn't even matter what graphics card you buy

6870 isn't needed at that resolution. 7770 is fine. A used GTX460 should save you a good amount of money though. And it'll probably run BF3 better as it's a very NVIDIA biased game. But yeah, lower resolution = easier to run and CPU matters more than GPU.

Looks like you'll be OK with the Radeon 7770 and Corsair CX430 then!
There will be no worries about low fps at that resolution.
