Just what if seti@home is able to split and send tapes to enough users that they run out of data??? Can it be done can enough horse power from the seti computer work faster then they could record, split, send out and reviev then varify the data that we would run out?? what you think:burn:

If it would come to that they would add more calculations to make WU's take longer.
 
They also send out the individual WU's to more than one user, so the units are "cross checked" for accuracy. Thats not taking into consideration, any backlogged tapes, that still need to be split up into the individual WU to be passed out.

As the PC's have gotten faster, they have upgraded the clients to do more work on each WU, thus increasing the time needed to finish a WU.

I'm sure they are pretty close to doing that again, sometime soon.
