I currently have a Tyan Trinity 400 with a PIII 667 Flipchip, I am thinking of getting a dual board to run 2 677's, what do you think is the best board to buy to overclock?

I have played with several, and for overclocking, I think the Abit VP6 is the best choice. I have 2 running 700e chips at 1GHz without a glitch.

I'm looking to put 2 p3 700's on my Asus Cuv4x-d shortly but I would agree with Tim the Abit board seems to be far more clocker friendly.

My friend also has 2 p3 700@1 ghz running rock solid on an Abit VP6. To me it sounds like the way to go.

Do you guys really think dual setups are even worth it? Are they really THAT much better than singles?

Unless you are doing a few specific tasks, NO. Unless you do heavy graphic arts, CAD, video editing, or audio recording the extra cost doesn't really make it worthwhile. You need 2000/NT (or some other SMP operating system) to use both cpus. Then, you need multi threaded software to gain any real advantage. They are higher dollar packages, for the most part, and are also not very common. You also need a bigger power supply, more ram, and better cooling to keep them happy. So it does run the price up a bit, and most users don't benefit much.
