I really can't see much, and what size tubing does the MCW40 take, I can't find anything on it.

The mcw40 uses 3/8 OD (1/4" ID??) tubing. It can probably be adapted to larger tubing but could definitely be a flow restriction for a good 1/2" ID system. The mcw50 uses the newer "pin-fin" arrangement for heat transfer, the mcw40 uses some dimples in the baseplate (I would not use it on a 9800 class card).
