I have an SE6 which I flashed to the VK BIOS. The highest voltage I can choose in the softmenu is 1.9 volts. Before the flash it was 1.85 volts.

One forum member can do 1.95 volts with the same board and the same BIOS. He flashed his too!!

What is the highest that others on this forum can reach with the SE6??

If you do have the 1.95 volt option please explain exactly how you did your flash.

Thanks in advance.

Who knows, maybee their board revision was different or something. the .05 shouldn't make that much difference anyway, thats in the upper do not go unless you absolutely must area anyway.

yeah i read that post too today and i updated my bios and now i get 1.9 instead of just 1.85.
but hey it is still better and now i get a better overclock.
hes right.
that person must just have a different revision.

I think what happens is that the motherboard senses what the default voltage is. Then it allows just so much overclocking from that point. The guy with the 1.95 volts has a chip with 1.7 as the default voltage. My chip has a default of 1.65.

So I have been toying with the idea of wiring the pins to make the motherboard think that the default is 1.7 or 1.75 volts. Then I would be able to choose 1.95 or 2.0!!
