just found a maxtor ata133 pci card in my box of stuffs... i'm wondering is this a RAID card? or does it just add 2 more IDE devices to my system?

Pin #: 10999690

and the chip on it says:

"Promise technology, INC.
PDC20269
ATA133 v2.20 B10"

any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'll let you check with Maxtor/ Promise, but that sounds like an ATA 133 controller card. http://www.tweakhardware.com/ has a guide on how to convert a standard Promise PCI card to a RAID card, I imagine it could be done with the Maxtor branded one as well. They're useful cards at any rate.
