What is your CPU average temp?

I just bought me a Golden Gate (7500 rpm) and the cpu temp. is unstable, sometime the temp goes up to 50 degree (C). While the factory heatsink and fan of AMD (5000 rpm) can keep my cpu stable at 41 (C). What is your cpu average temp? Does rpm of fan play an important role in keeping cpu cooler? Thanks,

I have an air cooled Duron 800 @ 1050 and my average CPU temps are between 36 and 43 c on load and I have the standard 4500 rpm Y-Tech fan on a FOP-32

I have a Thunderbird 1.1Ghz with a coolermaster hsf and it runs steady 29 degrees Celsius for most applications. On heavy loads it goes as high as 36 degrees.
