Nother Edit: If I wanted to be a real smartass I'd go and grab a 51/4 floppy drive and throw that in...do new BIOSs even recognize those nemore...

Only one way to find out. But I would be surprised if it they do. I know that my current mother board wont support Windows 98 or older......

You guys have got me trying to find date of manufacture labels! My main system has a fan from an Acer 1st Gen Pentium/Win 95 system, I bought that miserable thing in 1996 or so. For everything but games I use a Tatung VGA Monitor Manuf Oct 1999. If you want to talk oldest working/unused hardware, I'm definitely in the top group there. I have an Apple II+ from the 1980's (I was once an authorized Apple technician). Yes, Old H-Ware Tech is a very accurate description of me.

I quote the arbiter and the spartan. 700gigz of pronz on 1 floppy diskz!
lol my floppy drive.

which is the main rig again?

Desktop wise?

Assorted cables, or fans, or screws...

Dual p3 firewall, has nothing in it that is new. THe HDD's were scavenged from somewhere else (at best an 80gb drive), memory was pulled from retired servers, cables were pulled from same, cd drive was pulled out of a HP tank (err server), and the case/psu were saved from the dump.

Its a youtube series called arby and the chief.
If you watch it you'll understand better. Basically the arbiter goes up to the chief and tells him stop downloading I'm trying to play halo. Then he asks what hes even downloading and the chief says 700gigz of pronz. Then the arby says what are you going to even put it on? The hard drive isn't even that big! and the chief says 1 floppy diskz.
Its much more funny when you hear it.
