If I do go to a local store about getting a new amd processor to overclock, what kind of processors should I look for (List them in order of which one to buy over the other one in case they dont have the best in). Also, what model information should I be looking for, they'll let me pick that stuff out in the store right?

I'm looking to spend maybe $50-80 on a processor all together.

2500+ Barton is about $85 online, more where you'll buy so

1. DLT3C xxxB (not xxxA): either comes as 1700+ or 1800+
2. Any 2100+ xxxB (xxxA, not DMT3C Palomino).
3. Any other Thoroughbred B.

Good luck!

Edit: Good ol' Gautam beat me to it :)

go for a t-bred b. i've gotten stable speeds around 2.4 ghz with my 2400+ (220 x 11). i'm not a fan of locked processors, cause there's no way i'd get the speeds i got with a locked processor. but that's just me
