I am slowly building a Ryzen 5 build using a Corsair 250D. Single GPU. So should not need to be anything high wattage. I'm guessing around 500W will be more than enough.

I would like to get fully modular, with the ability to get shorter/colored cables?

Any suggestions?

I'm using Corsair 550RM, 550W Gold, modular, all cables are black. PSU is short so can be installed in any case. Also it runs passive till 50%+ load and it handles without issues something like overclocked 6800K/Ryzen 1700X + GTX1080Ti.

I woke up to my wife complaining that the monitor wasn't working, turns out the power supply in her computer had died.

I just ordered one of these cx 550m because I figured the $20 was worth the hassle and that $60 to begin with was a pretty ok deal and I didn't want to listen to any more complaining.....

anyway
its going into a bitfenix prodigy M, I figure similar sized case bigger components (mobo atleast) and am fairly confident it'll fit. its replacing a OCZ stealthXstream I cant remember wattage but the CX550m is smaller than the OCZ in there plus semi modular
I can let you know how it goes when I get it
