What should I be getting in overclocking? I have a 2.53 Ghz Pentium 4, its overclocked to 2.83 Ghz, but Iam kinda new at overclocking and doing it on my own and trying not to break anything, lol :D and I havent yet, but is what Iam overclocking to the average amount, I have 5 fans in my computer, my prossy isent HTed, I could steal my dads, I have a ASUS P4R800-V Deluxe motherboard, but Iam asking is this it? my CAS Latency is at 2.0, my TRCD is at 4, my TRP is at 4, my TRAS is at 7, the default clock for my CPU was 133 Mhz, (thats factory) I set it up to 148 Ghz, I could go higher but my computer would restart after a few hours, is this it? as high as I can go, if I did get more cooling, could I even go higher?, my tempatures are around 90 F. but I see some of the other guys go alot higher, and it kinda ****es me off that I cant, anyway, I hope someone replys and helps me out, later all.

If that's a B0 stepping (1.5v default vcore), then that's a fairly average O/C. If you are still at default voltage, then you might just need to bump up the vcore a notch or two. Might wanna try RAM timing of CAS 2.5 too.

keep putting up the fsb and when the system becomes unstable, try raising the cpu voltage up... not too high though (keep it under 1.65v)
