I do prefer the socket 754 but I've been reading about s939 being good for o/cing... I don't want to do that

I'd get the top system but I'd get 2x512MB RAM, and get a normal 9800 Pro instead of the Pro Ultimate, which is just a Pro with a big, stupid heatsink on it. The normal Pro is a better deal.

Get a decent video card, save up and get an x800xt or 6800 later, and use it with the amd 64..
