I haven't used a pelt myself, but from what I've read everybody that does seems to use 172 watt, and up for their amd's

thanks

you no finding how to this stuff is some times like getting info on the mob thanks again

I don't want to burst your bubble but I don't believe the Koolance can handle the heat from two CPUs and two pelts.

they can with a littel help

increased airflow added two case fans there runing at 94 degrees

donnypaycheck is using a 80w on a 1800+ so I would think 120w pelt would be safe. you should only be putting out some where around 75w of heat each.

Assume two 120 watt pelts and two CPUs at 75 watts, that's 390 watts of heat for the Koolance to dispose of. There is not enough radiator capacity for this much heat.

kool lance

so you dont think increasing the flow to 500 gallon a hour would do it

koolance

you no i got to try i just cant help my self do i need to go all the way to a 120 w or would 80 have any affect

koolance

thanks this is a lot off hit and miss isnt it do you think 80 w pelts would have any afect

what about a second radiator

A second radiator would help but your still not going to get great temps unless you can get rid of a the estimated 400 watts of heat and if your PSU can handle the load. Your 500 watt psu won't cut it for the size peltier you will need to keep an athlon at 20c. You will either need a second radiator or a single radiator that can handle a greater load. Upgrading waterblocks is something you will also want to concider since the current blocks arent designed for peltiers. 2 maze1-Cs would be great since they fit your board with no socket holes and they have seperate clamping mechanisms for the peltiers. I would stick with water and no pelts unless you want to do a completely new system.
