What to do?

Have four (4) 1gb sticks of Buffalo Firestix memory.
System posts/runs fine with any of the 3 sticks installed, will not run with 4 sticks. Have tried every combination of sticks and positions possible. All sticks check out/run good separately in every slot on mobo.
Am I missing something in the BIOS?

You might try bumping up your MCH or northbridge voltage a notch or two.

Are the memory sticks single or double sided?

Thanks for the guidance. Upping Nbridge voltage no effect on problem.

I think the problem is related to your board. It's not like it is defective it just doesn't do 4gb. I have seen some issues on asus boards and 4gb of memory, I just don't remember if they ever were solved.
