List some tools you think a modder should have. I'm trying to just make quick list for a friend.
 
Lexan
Extra fans, Heat sinks, thermal compound, hardware, etc
JB Weld & Superglue
An extra computer or laptop (technically a computer) for when something goes wrong with the main rig
cable ties
cable sleaving
power screwdriver
air compressor
 
My toolkit:

Cordless drill
Jigsaw
Various Screwdrivers
Files
Pliers
Leatherman Wave
Maglite
Wire cutters
Soldering iron

And assorted cable ties, sleeving, heatshrink, screws etc
 
dremel many attachments
drill/drill press
lots of screwdrivers
soldering iron
jigsaw
assorted tapes
x-acto knife
nibbler
epoxy, superglue,other adhesive
cough drops
 
I keep a spare materials bin for scraps to use in a pinch

also for tools for me

pop rivet gun
air compressor with moisture trap to clean up cases and parts
table saw with metal/plastic blade for cutting materials
good vise
multimeter
drill
good set of screw drivers
if you are painting then a good respirator is a must
and if you can afford it then a milling machine might not be a bad idea:D
