PC... the other three don't hold a candle to them. besides the fact that we haven't even seen a PS3/Revolution irl yet. so because of that, I would just pick 360 cuz I can actually play it

PS3 and Revolution aren't even out yet, how can anyone know which they will prefer?

I've never really been a fan of the Nintendo products.

If I am a fanboy, I'd have to ally myslef with PC, PlayStation (1, 2, 3), and Xbox (Original and 360). I think the variety keeps me from being a fanboy.

But the PC will always dominate, except in the "ease of use" area. That's the only advantage to consoles. Pack up up, plug them in, they work. Not affected by some "antivirus program from hell" or a pooched firewall, or incompatable drivers, etc.. Just plug it in, hit power, game works. But PC still dominates outside of that.

mouse + keyboard > controller with buttons

I stick with PCs better, because the keyboard and mouse work better for me, and you can configure most the controls most of the time. However, I prefer the Xbox because I play it alot with my friend, and the controls seem better than gamecube or ps2 (those 2 knobs are kinda weird for me).

Oh, I agree with that. I was more referring to the "console setup" ease of use, and the lack of a need to install anything special, etc. You just plug cords in, put disc in drive, play. So nice when your comp is fried for something.

But yes, keyboard and mouse work out better.

PC only for gaming. I fell off the console bandwagon when Sega really started screwing up. The Saturn was probably the pinnacle of console gaming for me.

After that, I grew up and had to pay rent and tuition, etc., so no more consoles. I can't wait to see the PS3, though, but I won't buy any of the new generation.

Yet again, can we say fanboys? (Lol, 4 deltas and I call someone "fan"boy.)

Its really too early in the game to pick. I use the pc a lot, and the consoles a lot. If I want something multiplayer (so far) it has been on the pc. I play WoW way too much, and enjoy the better (read not CS) fps games. But if I want something with plot and emotion I always turn to the console. PC has nothing to offer me that compares with the story of Kratos, or the actuall good games of Square or Enix. What about Legacy of Kain or Madden 06? Sonic and Mario?

All I am saying is no one that regulars the gaming forums should have a mindset that would allow them to bash a given platform. This place is supposed to bring us together to share stuff not have ***** sessions. Go to the WoW or thottbot forums for that.
