What would you buy?

Ive got an

amd64bit 3000+
geforce 6800 gt 413/1.13
asus k8v se delux


and right now i got 512mb ofpc2700 ram(samsung,corsair) and i think its causing my system to spike in games and out. So im out on the market to buy some ram,i got 150$ and maby can get 20 more if NEEDED looking to buy 512 mb of ram and upgrade later (ie 1x512) or maby even 1 gig of ram..what would you buy for best preformance and headroom to overclock in the future

Depends what stepping your cpu is but I would say a safe bet for all of them would be OCZ pc3500EB or buffalo pc3700 with the micron chips.

can these be found at newegg.and im not sure what my cpu stepping is..i havent overclocked it yet.
