Whats a good temp for a A7A266 with bios1004??????

I upgraded my bios from 1003 to 1004 and my temp readout raised 10*c. So what is a good normal temp for this board and bios version? My temp was with 1003 43*c now with the bios update it jumped to 53-54?? Ive read this is normal, but what is a good temp?

that is what I have... ~54 degrees. With 1003 bios my DDR ram would not work together 2x256.. This is normal temp for 1004.

im at 42c with bios 1003 i upgraded to 1004 and went up 10c, dunno if the temp really went up or the bios was off? so i went back to 1003... dont wanna take a risk..

With 1003 bios do you have any problems with your RAM ??? do you have 2x256 pc2100 ?>? I had 1003 bios and I had RAM problems.. I flashed my BIOS to 1004 and everything was fixed.. I have 2 x 256 mb pc2100 crucial ddr ram. Although my temp went up 10 ' c...

I had the same experience. After updating to v. 1004 my cpu temps jumped 10 degrees c. Went from 40-42 to 52-54. Just bought new antec sx-830 case and dropped to 48. reverted to v. 1003 bios and dropped to 38c immediately. Don't know if temp reading was innacurate but since I saw no other improvements to the new bios, seemed like a no brainer.
