i fried my 1.4 chip trying to hook a pelt up, cauz i didint tighten the block enuff on one side!!! anyways my problem is i had a 1.4 so now i am using my old 1.33 chip and it wont boot at 1.33 when i goto bios it says i still have a 1.4, i reflashed the bios and tried diffrent versions. when i boot at 1.33 i get lock ups and stuff i can only boot at 1050mhz! did i mess up my board cauz it wont recognize the chip?? it says multiplier is locked at 10.5 and a 1.33 is 10x?
anyone have any ideas lemme know please!!!!!
 
The next time that your mainboard's BIOS gets "stuck" like that, don't reflash the BIOS. Clear it, instead!! To do this, I've found that it's safer to A: Unplug the power plug from the back of the PS.
B: Let the box sit for a hour or two.
C: Ground yourself!
D: Remove the BIOS's battery for ten minutes. A strip of tape makes this a LOT easier.
D: Replace the battery.
E: Plug the PS into the "wall" again.
F: Fire up your box.

BIOS should be back to Setup Defaults.

i just tried that, besides reseting all my settings it did not work!... any more suggeastions?
