What's involved in building a duallie Opteron machine?

Lets pretend I know nothing (I *actually* know *next* to nothing, but not quite nothing ) about the different Opterons available, the different boards available for them, and the overclockability of Opterons in a duallie setup.

I am trying to read up on these a little bit, having come to the resolution that my next upgrade will be to a dual processor 64-bit platform (or bust!).

Thanks for any misscelanious info (pretty much all the odds and ends about building such a machine are what I'm looking for.

Overclocking dual Opterons atm is entirely not possible. Currently there are no motherboards that have any overclocking Options except one MSI board but it doesn't give much of anything. If you still want to build a dual Opteron board read through the SMP topic. There have been quite a few people who have started this same topic.
