whats the better? =AGKGA or AGOGA

im gonna get an xp 1800+ soon and i was wonderin what everyones experiences are with the differ kinds... i dont even know if i have a choice when i get to the store but ill try... thanks

I'm 99% sure that the AGOGA is better. My 1600+ is AGKGA and it overclocks "so-so"... But from what I've read this stepping is on the bottom of the list

My XP 1800 got up to 1.732 mhz i could go higher AGKGA is the first stepping i would surelly go for AGOGA if possible AGOIA they are newer and better steppings for sure.

I'll second the AGOIA. I had a 1600+ that would do 10.5X160 at default voltage.

well since no1 else seems to have mensioned this stepping i guess i'll throw in my nice little oc i am running an xp [email protected] 162x10.5 with default vcore yes i do water cool it but i have had it stable up to somewhere in the low 40s so i think at least some air cooling can manage that or better

EDIT: doh lol i 4got to actualy mension what stepping it was so i'll just tell ya now its an agnga with a Y and its week 51
