hi i just bought a swifttech mc-642-A for my asus A7A266 and when im about to put that sucker on guess what. ITS TO BIG and the mobo layout makes it so the connector is right next to the slot. so i just wasted 70 bucks on that F'in crap. so now i need to buy another HSF that will fit my mobo layout. im looking for the best HSF that can do the job and cool the cpu. o and my cpu is a 1.333ghz that might help :) well thanx for the help.

that sucks! I am giving you a bump but I don't know about your mobo the hsf should fit!

Well it may not be the biggest, but baddest maybe, the Golden Gate/Gladiator. You can pick one up with the delta 38cfm fan Here. It should be pretty good. But, if your going to spend 70 bucks then why not get a water cooling kit. Im getting my Orignal AquaStealth for 99 bucks plus shipping. It may not be the best water cooling out there, but will do as good as a Swiftech MC462A and its upgradable if you want to add a bigger radiator, better pump, or a peliter. If you dont mind spending a little more money then get the Aquastealth II kit with the aquacoil upgrade. It should be more than enough cooling for your needs.

hehe well thanx for the help guys ill go try out some of those links that ferg left me. and of everyone else thanx for the help i always appreciate it.
