Well it turned out that the FIC AZ11 I had was bad, so I'm sending it back to upgrade to a better one. I just wanted to know the difference between the two before I decide to buy.

One is the price, the "E" is cheaper and NOT officially a 133 Mobo, but I have had mine up to 140.
Here is a link to some info on the "E".

Still happy with mine :) :)

Good luck on your quest.

Yeah, basically what he said. The E is only guaranteed to run at a FSB of 100 mhz, while the A is guaranteed to run a FSB of 133 mhz. Though the E can usually overclock to 133 Mhz FSB no problem.

Oh also, the E is BLUE! :) The A is like normal motherboard color.

Yeah that "E" board really look's cool, I think I'm gonna get it just because of the colors, LOL

If you don't need RAID, the KT7E is the way to go...... IMHO. the E and the A are essentially the same board and the E costs less. It's no challlenge in my book, get the E. Another vote for the blue PCB too...... it's cool!!
