The biggest difference pertaining to overclocking would probably be the fact that XP home only supports single processor PC's while XP Pro supports dual CPU systems. I believe Pro has some additional components for network environments as well.

Home version supports NTFS also . Is it worth the upgrade? Some people say yes and some say no. Personally I like it, but my only gripe with it is the firewall, it is good at blocking incoming traffic, but tends to let ALOT of stuff out that is operating system related...makes me wonder if its calling home. I know its not auto updates either, because I always keep that stuff off. I use Tiny Firewall as a second firewall.

This has come up many times before. I suggest that you use the search button on the top left of your screen and search for such a thread. Or check out the microsoft website.
