I got it to run at exactly the same as you Gilgamesh. 152 FSB... we can probably go alot higher, but since my CPU is allso still locked I think I have hit the roof on this one.

WinXP!?

Hey,

Any time I crank my FSB above 140 I get an error that says my config file is corrupted and that I can repair it from the recovery console. It isn't really corrupted because when I lower it back to below 140 it boots fine.

I'm running Windows XP Professional. Is this part of it? Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks.

I think that rising the vcore won't help you, may be one of your pci cards is holding you back. Try it without the sound card or whatever you have on the pci and see if you can boot. Also will help you if you get newer drivers for your hardware :) BTW are your pci divisors on 4:2:1? make sure that is checked instead of the 3:2:1

I disagree that raising vcore won't help, it might but not guarenteed. I had the same troubles getting over 150. When I volt modded the board and went to 1.92 I could go over 150 without the errors! It's worth a shot.
I run win2k.

FSB Speed

I'll try taking out the PCI devices. One of them is sound and the other is a NIC. Heh, however, it doesn't do me a lot of good to be able to RUN at a given FSB if I have no sound or Internet!

I've also thought about the vold mod, but haven't done it yet. I'm planning on doing it either this weekend or next.

I got mine up to 175, but it wasn't stable. Before I hosed my brown xp2000 I ran my system on 172fsb stable! When my maze3 comes in I will bump it back up to 172fsb.

Gotta love that Kingmax!!!!!!!!

I have had mine load winows at 200mhz.... my memory wasn't good enough tho... the best stable I have run was 162fsb. I am fully confident tho, hat the board can do 200mhz...

I said that rising the vcore won't help him because his vcore is already 1.85v and thats more than enough for 150 fsb

A question...

Okay,

I've had FSB problems in the past. I couldn't get it to boot at 12x with a FSB of anything over 139. I've ruled out PCI cards, because I can boot at 11.5x and 11x up to (as tested to date) 148.
Is it safe to say that the no12x problem is a voltage thing? Also, I don't seem to recognize #.5x mults..only whole numbers. Anyone know why that is?
