I have heard good things about this opteron board and its now in a little story on the front page of Overclockers. However, I have been unable to find it for sale. Anyone know where to find one?

I was under the impression that K8NW was different than K8N. Leadtek lists them seperately and gives the K8NW the "Pro" definition. No one seems to carry this one.

*edit* The K8N is socket 754, the K8NW is socket 940.

Yes sorry, you are correct I noticed that after I posted and then edited my post. It doesnt seem like anywhere is stocking them as of yet.

I don't know about the board, but I must say if you are planning on buying a Leadtek plan, do not plan on getting the board replaced by them. I fought w/ them for along time and I can even show you emails of how stupid they are.

I couldn't find it anywhere either, apart from two Russian Stores that I don't think you would be interested in buying from. My guess is that they aren't available in extensive numbers at all, and within North America, the closest thing that you can find is the K8N.

I had another look for you, this time I went through just about every reseller on there website and not one had the board. The only thing I can think of is to e-mail leadtek themselves and ask them if the board has been distributed to the sellers yet and if not when is it actually being released.

You can contact them at the following URL: http://www.leadtek.com/contact.htm

Thanks!
I'll drop them a line. Manufactureres can take sooo long to answer emails a lot of the time so I was just hoping someone here would know.

It's just strange that they have the board listed under their current products while it doesn't seem to be available.
