I'd like to find an overclocking retailer that sells special modded or lapped BLORBs or other clone chipset coolers in the UK. I have a geforce 256 DDR Annihilator Pro with a SERIOUSLY hot chipset that a blorb is not going to do much for if it is just normal.

I run a BORB on a Elsa Erazor X2 which is a 32 mb Geforce 256 DDR and lapped it myself, I personally found a noticable reduction in temprature which I believe is due to the moving of the power source. The standard Elsa Erazor hsf draws its power from the graphic card itself and therefore adds to the power consumption required from the AGP slot. The BLORB draws its power from the mobo and when fitted with artic silver after being lapped, my card is fairly cool.
A PCI bay cooler can also help this situation.. hope this helps

Ok I do not have a garage w/ all the tools for lapping, so thats lapping out the window. And about 90% off all PCI coolers suck air out of the case which creates a vacuum between the hsf and the PCI card, NOT GOOD. Some really expensive ones push air in but I cant find those ones in the UK.

You dont need a garage to lap things. I just use fine sand paper taped to a block of wood and a flat desk. and if you were planning on making the copperfoot mod you would just need a hand drill. Dont get a pci cooler when you could get a 60mm fan and mount it on the pci slots pulling air in..just an idea b/c i did that and it give my video card fresh air from outside and then lower temps.

The UK based electrical shop Maplins does a selection of PCI bay coolers, with seperately powered removable fans.. by turning the fans round you can change the PCI cooler from suck to blow
