I don't know about the Xp's, but with the Athlon's, you could get a 1.4 ayhja for only a couple dollars extra.

Highly doubt it. They prob don't have enough time to check steppings for you.

I figure I can sell my unlocked 1700 to a friend and but a new one with a better stepping for the same price.

Your best (and probably only) bet would be to go to a local store or computer show and see if they will let you hand pic one ...Online stores don't have the time to pick through each cpu..And it's just not cost efective.

Really good. Right now I have it at default voltage and its solid at 11x153. This is with passive air cooling I know it will go higher with a better air cooler because it boots @1.73 but it just fails prime95. I cant wait to hook it up to my H2O rig 2100+ at default voltage settings .

Where are you getting a 1700+ AGOIA?

I am going to pair it up with my Thermalright AX-7 when it comes in next week, and I am also waiting for my vmod kit to come in as well. I'll put all of that in my 8KHA+ and hope for 1.8 GHz @ roughly 1.95 Volts.

What do you think my chances are?
I will need PC-2700 ofcourse,,, I wonder how high my Micron PC2100 will go.
