i bought 100 feet with ends and boots for 4.99 on ebay.

I also got crimp tool, 100 ends, 200 feet, 100 ends for like 15.99
and i got 200 feet with ends and boots for 7.99

again all on ebay.

Hmm....

I know you said vendor, but check the classifieds. Someone is selling for $1 plus .20 a foot. And thats in Canadian.

You might be able to talk your parents into it if you were saving a lot of money. Parents... ahhh.:)

Do a search for Cat5 in here and you'll find some good sellers in the classifieds.

and you can put they have the female terminators that dont reqire any tools ( then just get a 1 foot patch cord thats like 1 buck) and vola you got it

5e can do gigabit networking, the others are only 10/100. Doesn't really apply to most situations, but if it's stable for a gigabit it'll be super stable for 100Mb.
