Where on the mobo is the mobo temperature being taken?

I could imagine that the temperature of the mobo will vary depending on the location on the mobo. So where exactly is the temperature probe? I have an Asus A7A266.

i think he is referring to the sensor that reports the case temp and that varies on all motherboards. i could get to the pdf manual on the asus site, but i will try again later.
