where to buy copper stock

Hey guys,
just wondering where i can buy some copper bar stock 1" thick. I'm getting ready to machine my own block
We've got a lowes, home depot, etc.. im sure you can buy it somewhere
If not, ill have to machine it out of aluminum first

both have those thicknesses, however in my experience, after 1/2" thick the price jumps quickly.

i'm pretty sure you could get it locally, through some metal production supplier, but i don't know where
