Need your help. I'm thinking have a bottle neck somewhere. should be getting nearly 1200 Mbps but can't get over 980. I'm thinking something in my network is slowing me down but can't figure it out. Here is what have:

1) Modem: Arris SB8200

2) Router: TP-Link ax3000

3) Switch: TP Link TL-SG1024

4) MOBO: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max

TIA!

Since that's over 1Gb, you'd first need all ports in thd network over that. Your modem only has 1GbE, no? Router is 1Gbe...

....or are you talking wifi?

I'm talking ethernet. Not WiFi. You are right. The two ports on the back are only rated for 1 each. Dang

My guess would be the router - according to TP-Link the WAN port is only GBe.
You are also right. I didn't see that. Looks like it is time to upgrade.
