I have a TH7II-RAID on the way and I like to experiment with beta BIOSes, so a BIOS Savior is a must. Which kind of BIOS savior does this motherboard use? I went to www.mwave.com and I say a RD1-8X 4MBit BIOS Savior and an RD1-PL 2MBit BIOS Savior. Both look like the type of BIOS chip that the Abit TH7II-RAID uses. Thanks.

Here's another little trick you can use. Contact Abit support and tell them you were sent a mobo from your place of purchase along with a P4 Woody and when you got it, it wouldn't boot. What they will do then is send you a new bios chip with the 38bios already flashed. All you would need then is an extraction tool which you can pick up at Radio Shack for about $10. Then all you need do is when you have a screwed flash (which is rare) then yank the old chip out, put the new chip in just enough to boot and get to a dos prompt then remove the good chip and place the screwed one back. Then simply reflash it with a good bios and your set to go again. I do it all the time. :D
