Hi,
I am planning on getting a new Motherboard for my C-566. I am intending to overclock it, but I am not sure what the better chipset to go to for a new motherboard. Is the VIA chip better then the i815 in stability? I keep hearing people saying that the i815 chip is worst then the BX chipset, so I am open to alternatives, and it seems that the VIA is not too bad right now. Any opinions?

The 440BX is supposedly the most stable chipset. The problem is that it can't support many new features like AGP Pro. I believe VIAs are good, but there are some memory performance decreases. As for the i815, it probably is worse than the 440BX. I'd stick with the VIA if you want a lot of features, and the 440BX if you want stability
