which chipset is better for socket A.....VIA or AMD, and why? let the debate begin

Im trying to find out which one is better....not for overclocking...just better, and why. all opinions be welcome!

Hmmm, you got me. I'm familiar with most chipsets, but not an AMD chipset...can you name a board that uses AMD chipsets?...I will do some studies on it..Tnx.

There are Gigabyte boards that use the AMD chipset for socket A. I was just wondering if is was any better that the VIA chipsets.

Thanks
Chuck
