Which Gforce2 card ???

Im putting together a system for a friend and was wondering which gforce2 card manufacture would have the best quality for under $80?

Asus, Gainward, Abit, Aopen, Leadtec, MSI.......

Gainward try for a GTS for around 50-60$ on pricewatch....i would suggest however you get a Radeon32mb DDR for 50$....its about as fast as a GTS and is much better image quality wise....the Geforce2 image quality is crap imho...

From everyones advise here, thats what Im doing in my system....Radeon 8500...No Gforce....
But thats a good point, for this system, I can get the Radeon32mb instead? humm.. Ill look into this one....
Any other advise...

oh yes the Kyro II is also a good choice but only if your friend has a P4 Northwood or an Athlon XP....depending on the cpu it is very fast and its image quality is on par with ATis...it has no hardware aT&L but like i said with a good cpu its a very good deal for around 60$....

Actually, its gonna be an XP2000+ ....

I looked on newegg but did not see any "Kyro" cards.... Where would I be able to take a look at this card? Thanks

it is on newegg, i believe its marketed as the Hercules 4500....

edit: never mind they have stopped selling it....check www.pricewatch.com

I think Ill stick to the Gforce2 or the ATI..... Its a toss-up between these two
