Which HDD should I use as master?

I currently have the following two HDD in my rig

Master:- 80 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 2MB cache ATA100
Slave:- 40 GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus8 7200rpm ATA133 2MB Cache

I'm wondering if the Maxtor may be a better drive and provide me with better performance.

Anyone know if i should switch them round?
Which Disk is best?

40 for windows and etc.
80 for storage, that is how I see it.

There should be no performance increase or decrease by switching around your drives. There's no real difference between master and slave to the mobo, so both will run just as fast as they do now if you swapped them. Though I'd put windows on the 40GB one too, and you might see a slight performance increase.
