Seattle, but im Estonian
i was wondering cause a friend of mine will b gettin a 2.53 or so soon and i wanna get the abit bd7-ii but does it have a pci/agp lock to ease his overclocking ability (his kinda new at this..)

Hey Max, haven't seen you in a while...

anyhoo, go to www.abit.com.tw and download the manual for the BD7-ii. There you will see how the BIOS is set up for that particular board. Also entering 'Abit BD7II' into a google search gives you several reviews of this board...and I'm sure most of them will describe the various BIOS functions as well. After this bit of research your friend (and you as well) should have a much easier time of installing the mobo as you already sort of know what to expect.

I could have looked at the manual and reviews and told you the info, but this way you learn how to find out all you need to know on your own about any mobo very quickly.

ok. so i got the manual it says there one of the divider options is 33 mhz ( fixed) does that mean locked or does that mean i only get multipliers that result in that pci speed?
Lt. Max, the ( fixed ) setting , on my 3 abit mobos is agp/ pci locked.

I can't guarantee it's correct on yours, but it is on mine.
