ive been wondering which p3 processor would have a good chance to reach 1GHz overclocked?

the world doesn't end at 1GHz...

get a 700E or 750E if you're gunning for 1GHz. at this point, you're most likely to get a cC0...

try ordering from PCNut so you'll have a guaranteed Pentium III 700 at 1GHz...costs a bit more but it's worth it. =)

I have 5 PIII-700s running at or above 1GHz. 3 are cb0s and 2 are cc0s. The cc0s and a pair of the cb0s are running on dual cpu boards which are a little more picky about processors than single boards, but they all run fine. The single cb0 is running at 1050MHz and is solid.
