Ok i am either buying a kk266 from iwill or the kt7a. I already have the crucial 133 cas 2 ram and 300watt PS. I will be buying a swiftech462a fan w/ artic silver 2. And i will be buying a 1.333mhz CPU.
It should run me about 500 bucks with a new case too. Is it really worth upgrading if i already am at 1000mhz with a slot a? Right now i am running a voodoo 3 which runs really good for me. Or should i just buy a Ultra Geforce 2 and then get a Athlon MP at 1500 or higher when they come out.
Thanks

I think your system is all ready pretty sweet. I am personally going to wait a few before I upgrade. When it gets cheaper I want to go DDR. I've got my eyes on the Abit KG7 MoBo. But, if you got the $$$ go for it now the KT7A is always good. I don't know anyone who has the kk266 board, but I've read only good things about it!

Yeah i mean i already have the ram and ill i need to do is get the motherboard and cpu and ram also a new case.
I have 382 megs of crucial right now . i think i might get another 256 for for 640 of pc133 then overclock the ram to 145 FSB. I think the kk266 is better then the kt7a. Im afraid to run into sound blaster problems if i buy one. I know DDR is good and cheap but i dont think its worth it until cpu's or motherboards get better. Right now i got the ram so i should just use it. I am going to wait until they have something like pc3200 or higher motherboards.
